3 Ways to a Happier Life With Your Loved One

In the beginning of a relationship, you're probably as happy as happy can be, and if you're not, you may want to run away. The first few months of any new couple is usually known as the 'honeymoon phase.' This phase of the relationship is usually filled with romantic mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

After the first few months, things may begin to sour. Couples will often begin to get annoyed with one-another. Really, things that you may have just put up with before, you're no longer able to handle. Maybe you're not as sweet as you used to be, and maybe you're extremely annoyed with your loved one.

The truth is, this is completely normal. The problem is, if you want your relationship to work, you'll have to get back to how things were during the honeymoon phase, and keep them that way. Some people think that they can get away with being romantic only during the first few weeks of a relationship, and then let loose. This is far from the truth.

I want to go ahead and give you 3 tips that will help bring you back things to the way used to be, during the honeymoon phase. If used correctly, these tips can be extremely effective in bringing happiness back into your relationship.

1) Bring Back The Romance - If you have gone into a haze of laziness where you never do anything sweet for your loved one, you need to wake up! Make your loved one a nice dinner. If you don't know how to make dinner, take them out to dinner. Surprise your significant other with a room full of candles, and a nice massage. Basically, do anything that you used to do to make your significant other say, "Wow! You're so sweet!"

2) Lose The Attitude - If you're girl or guy is annoying you, then you need to ask yourself, "Do I want to be with this person?" If you're going to stick with the person you're with, you must learn how to accept them for who they are. If they pick their nose and this bothers you, either tell them about it, or learn to let it go. Treat your loved one with respect. Lose the attitude. Remember, they're with you to make you happy, and not to make you angry. If they do attempt to make you angry on purpose, maybe you need to be with a more mature individual.

3) Communication - It's definitely important to lose the attitude. Sometimes, the only way to do this is by use of communication. Talk with your loved one, and actually listen to what they have to say. When it is your turn to speak, explain to them your feelings. Although this is simple advice, communication can really make or break a relationship. If you really have something that you need to tell your loved one, then tell them. Be honest, and be upfront. Just be sure to do it in a manner that will not offend them.

By using these 3 tips alone, you can significantly improve your relationship. I know that things can get tough, but remember, if things were going well before, there's no reason they can't go well again.
